Exedy makes the OEM clutch on your Subaru, and it’s not a bad clutch, either, so you know these folks know their stuff.
Compared to the Stage 1 clutch, Stage 1 HD upgrades to a still-heavier pressure plate — note that this will lead to more chatter and less-smooth uptake than the stock replacement clutch. The disc is still a full-face organic type for decent, streetable engagement behavior.
Rated to hold approximately 319 ft/lbs of torque, measured at the wheels.
