Jeep Grand Cherokee Carbon Fiber Lower Beauty Cover Replacement
We use a UV Clear gel coat only. This finish is buffed to a shine on all of our carbon fiber parts and accessories. The same gel coat is used on our fiberglass version, except that gel coat is black in color.
We do not use an automotive clear coat that yellows, fades or cracks over time. If your carbon fiber gets scratched there is no need to re-clear the whole part. Simply wetsand and re-buff for a completely new look. Digs gouges, scratches from flying debris? These can be filled with a layer of clear gelcoat and wet-sanded smooth and buffed again.
Gel coat has a tendency of drying out resulting in a white haze we recommend waxing with a Pure Carnauba at lease once a month for best results. Think of it like dry skin you have tokee it coated at all times. Ceramic coatings and PPF wrapping is fine for gel coat and poses no damage from long term use.
Note: We do not recommend fiberglass to be installed as is It is meant to be painted prior to installation.

- This lower beauty cover is a full replacement part, installs in minutes.
- Take the OEM one off and put this new carbon fiber beauty cover on.
- The clips on each foot of the OEM part are replaced so the clear coat is not stressed by spreading the feet out to install.
- We have replaced clips with 3M tape seeing the whole underside is covered with OEM screws.
- All OEM screws along the bottom side are retained for an OEM fit and finish.
